A local recommended us to come for lunch, I wasn't disappointed. You MUST try the "mole de guava", it is out of this world! Eat it in "enmoladas". For dessert try the "pan de elote", it is moist and soft in a bed of chocolate, incredible! Sonia was very cheerful and provided great service. If you come to Copula, you must eat here!

In the heart of Capula, a couple of blocks from the main square. El Fogon De La Catrina offers a wide variety of traditional dishes on its menu, which highlights its variety of moles such as traditional, guava, tamarind and blueberry. The service is very friendly and the time it takes for the dishes to arrive at your table is even fast, taking into account that there were more people in the place. The decoration is wonderful, very in keeping with the place, you feel the warmth and comfort of a space both for family and as a couple. They sometimes have live music on Sunday afternoons, creating a unique atmosphere in the place. Some of their prices and dishes have changed, so I leave you their menu so that, like us, you can take a little piece of the great gastronomy that there is in Capula in this restaurant. I would definitely return.

Amazing restaurant in Capula with must see hand-painted Murals! Attention to detail is key, from the raw cane sugar extract & homemade cinnamon and pecan cookies served with your coffee to the well deserved clean restaurant certification. Natural, homemade juices, salsa, and Mole.

A hidden little spot in the center of Capula, with a pleasant and quiet atmosphere. The food is fabulous and the service is exceptional. You can't miss the moles: - traditional - blueberry - guava - tamarind Of course, you have to order a liter to take away and enjoy at home.

I found it through a Facebook recommendation, its prices are very affordable, it has 4 very delicious types of moles, and the menu is very varied in case you want to eat something else, the portions are good, excellent place
